Today this guy called Lex came and talked to us about who we are. My favorite joke, well, just a casual thing he said was when he said he was gonna talk about relationships and purred. My favorite activity was ticking the boxes so we could know which animal we are. My animal is a beaver, the one that always works hard and makes sure its perfect. Lex came because he wanted us to know more about who we are and how to boost our self-esteem. 2 things I learned is that everyone is different, and your choices right now could make a big difference in our future.
Anyone Else Remember When They Were New?
I remember when I was new I was so shy I wouldn't even say a word to someone I didn't know (everyone). I also remember everyone telling me I'm good at maths (WTH?). Yep, that's all I remember.
My Strengths And Weaknesses
My strengths are maths and art, however, my weaknesses are sports and punctuation. 1 learning goal for myself is to be able to do better in punctuation and grammar. 1 ICARE goal for myself is to be able to have enough courage to walk up and talk to people I don't know. 1 Learning Powers goal for myself is to be more resilient about things I can't do yet.
My Leadership Role Differences
Being in Marama makes a big difference for my leadership role because I'm now a senior. If you think about it it's kinda nervewracking to know that the rest of the school looks up to you. Now everyone expects you to stop other people and yourself from doing the wrong thing.
If You're A Grown-Up Read This
I think grown-ups need to know we need MORE sleep otherwise we'd wake up cranky. It would also make it easier for us to wake up.

Week 1 summary
Week one was pretty cool, and when I say cool I mean COOL! The first day of school we said hi to our friends, and got to know our new teachers. The whole week was pretty much the same-AMAZING! We always got free time after swimming and had fun activities. I loved going to school day after day, and I still do.

At one point in the holidays we had 13 people over. We went to Miranda Hot Pools, and it felt like getting boiled to death! I don't know why Mum and Dad decided to go there on a hot day. After that, we kids played with my dog Happy, which was so fun! We also made slime, which Happy almost ate. Few! We stayed up kinda late watching T.A.W.O.D, but we still woke up early.

My Multiple Intelligence Result
My 2 highest bits of intelligence are visual-spatial and logical-mathematical. This quiz is very accurate because I always organize my things by color and I'm pretty good at maths. It does not make a big difference in my learning because I've always known this. One thing that I didn't expect was that music wasn't my highest one.
